We are currently seeking applicants for an SDP (Service Deployment Platform) Development Manager.
The SDP Development Manager position includes managing projects and developers working on the SDP (Services Delivery Platform) to support plant tracking and automated provisioning of numerous network elements responsible for delivering broadband, telephone, video, and email services to our clients’ customers.
Location: This position will be full time on-site in Mitchell, SD Remote work will NOT be considered for this position.

When you are part of the Innovative team as an SDP Development Manager you will:
- Lead a team of 7 software developers, ensuring they meet client and support department needs.
- Manage developer work assignments and conduct performance reviews.
- Manage complex projects involving Innovative Systems clients, third-party vendors, and Innovative Systems internal staff.
- Manage all SDP Development Professional Services contracts.
- Work with the SDP Support Manager to ensure client satisfaction.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Project management of multiple projects simultaneously, both large and small.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with the following software and technologies:
- Windows operating system,
- Wireshark,
- Access Gear (Calix, Adtran, Nokia, Zhone, Tarana, Plume, etc),
- Telephone Switching Equipment (Genband, Meta, etc.),
- IPTV Middleware (Innovative Systems, Minerva, etc.).
- An understanding of Internet standards in the context of server-based applications such as TCP-IP, DNS, FTP, SSH, HTML, XML, DHCP, and other protocols is preferred.
