Mitchell Area Chamber of Commerce to Host CO. STARTERS Bootcamp on May 9 & 10
Mitchell, S.D., March 11, 2024 – The Mitchell Area Chamber of Commerce is launching CO. STARTERS Bootcamp in Mitchell. In partnership with Dakota Resources, Startup Sioux Falls, and the Small Business Administration, the Mitchell Chamber strives to create an ecosystem to support local entrepreneurs, small businesses, and startups in the Mitchell area. The CO.STARTERS Bootcamp is a condensed version of the ten-session, cohort-based CO. STARTERS Core program that the Chamber has run 2 successful cohorts of over the past 2 years.
What is CO.STARTERS Bootcamp? This four-part intensive bootcamp provides entrepreneurs with the business basics. Through hackathon-style peer collaboration over two days, this bootcamp challenges them, stretches their thinking, and gives them concrete tools to bring their businesses to life.
This program is best for entrepreneurs who:
Have a good idea but need further validation > The 2-day timeline gives entrepreneurs enough time to put their assumptions to the test and bounce ideas off others.
Aren’t ready for a multi-week program > Not every idea is ready for a 10-week program like CO.STARTERS Core! Some entrepreneurs need a middle ground between a short workshop and a longer program.
Are stuck and need to shift their strategy > CO.STARTERS Bootcamp’s four modules—Discover, Promote, Build, and Launch—provide a great runway for further business development.
The Small Business Administration has provided the funding for this FREE training. Enrollment is open March 11, 2024 and available at https://www.mitchellchamber.com/accelerate-mitchell. The 2-day bootcamp will be held on May 9 & 10, 2024 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. with an hour break for lunch both days at the Mitchell Chamber of Commerce office. Deadline for enrollment is May 3, 2024.
