Avera@Home is hosting a grief support group for hospice families and their supporters during the month of November. It will meet from 10-11:30 a.m. every Tuesday in November (Nov. 4, Nov. 11, Nov. 18 and Nov. 25) at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital Conference Room #2. The grief support group will provide a place for individuals to express their mourning and grief. It will be a safe place for individuals to talk about the death, share stories and begin to heal. The material used will focus on comparing the patterns of grief to the rhythm of the four seasons and is based on James Miller's "When Mourning Dawns: Living Your Way Fully Through the Seasons of Your Grief."
