    Event Description:
    Join DWU Astronomy professors Dr. Farney and Dr. Lubben for NASA’s International Observe the Moon Night on Sept. 19 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Corrigan Health Sciences Center on the DWU campus.

    Multiple telescopes will be set up to observe the moon, along with interpretive posters to help locate famous lunar landmarks and Apollo lunar landing sites. Additionally, activities for the younger visitors will be available and a short full-dome video on lunar rocks will be showing in the Florence Glenny Farney Planetarium Dome. 

    Come and go as you please and be a part of the one million participants in this wonderful evening of Lunar Astronomy!   

    In the event of inclement weather or heavy cloud cover, alternative indoor activities will be planned.
