Job Summary
Countryside Senior Living is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Full-Time Cook to prepare nutritious, delicious meals for our residents. This position is responsible for meal preparation, food presentation, kitchen sanitation, and ensuring every resident enjoys a quality dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve appetizing, nutritious meals for more than 80 residents under the direction of the Kitchen Manager
- Follow menus, recipes, portion sizes, and dietary requirements
- Ensure food is prepared and served safely, efficiently, and on schedule
- Set up dining areas and assist with meal service as needed
- Deliver trays and meals to residents when required
- Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and maintain clean food preparation areas
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, and dining areas
- Dispose of trash and food waste according to facility procedures
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
- Assist with inventory, food storage, and other kitchen duties as assigned
- Previous experience preparing meals for large groups is required
- ServSafe Certification preferred
- Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a positive team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible availability, including some weekends and holidays
