State Will Match Your AI Training Costs — Mitchell Businesses Have Until Aug. 7
The South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation just announced new funding to help local businesses adopt AI. Employers can get matching funds for AI discovery work (up to $5,000), hands-on training and implementation (up to $20,000), or basic AI awareness training for staff ($1,000 per employee, up to $10,000).
Here's the thing: the state funds it, but you still need someone to actually do the work. That's where Dakota Intelligence comes in. We're Mitchell's own AI consulting shop, and what we do for local farms, law firms, realtors, and small businesses lines up directly with all three of these funding categories.
If you've been on the fence about bringing AI into your business, this is about as good a reason as you'll get to finally do it; the state is picking up half the tab. Applications are due Friday, August 7.
